Thank you to our Amazon Smile supporters 😀
We have received a donation of £31.78 as a result of Amazon Smile programme activity between 1 October and 31 December 2018.
Don’t forget to use our unique charity link when shopping on Amazon
We have enrolled in the Amazon Smile giving scheme. Start each shopping session at the URL https://smile.amazon.co.uk, and Amazon will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) of your eligible purchases.
You’ll need to search for ‘1st Barnham Scout Group’ when visiting smile.amazon.co.uk for the first time.
Shop online else where? Start your shopping session at The Giving Machine to raise free donations for 1st Barnham (2000+ participating retailers).
A huge thanks to all customers and members @coopuk for including us in their Local Community Fund. We are super pleased to announce that the £1,584.94 we have been awarded added to other funds received will allow us to proceed with purchasing new tents.
Tents are the starting point for an adventure and these new tents will enable our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to have loads of adventures for years to come. #TheCoopWay
Exciting news about our new tent appeal!
Today we received two donations; £379.43 from DM Thomas Foundation for Young People and £209.53 from the Hilton Avisford Park Community Fund.
A big thank you from us all.
These donations, together with other donations recently received and a grant application we are waiting to hear the outcome of will be used to replace our six Vango tents ready for use by the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts this summer.
Remember! When you are buying Christmas presents online, make sure that you generate a free cash donation with every purchase via TheGivingMachine.co.uk. There are over 1500 of the most popular stores taking part in the program making it so easy for you to make a difference without it costing you a penny more than the normal purchase price of your item.
We have been selected to receive funding from the Co-op Local Community Fund. It means that we will get a contribution towards replacing worn out camping equipment. But we need your help. The more support we get, the more funding we could receive.
So if you’re a Co-op Member log in to your Co-op Membership account and choose us.
If you’re not a member, you can join online and then support us!
